Jennifer Jill's Love/Life CD album contains 20 different cuts with most items coming from her pen. It is an eclectic collection of compositions spanning a decade of inspiration. On the face of it, some items may seem like light fillers. However, every song holds a profound message. In "It Stinks In The Ark," she sings "But let's put it all in the proper perspective/As bad as it can be, it's better than the alternative." In "My Favorite Foods," she runs away from "dunkin' do-NOTS," and finds health "a potato away."
"Lonely Hearts Club" "God, Broken" and "The Circle" deal with relationships, joy and pain. "The Day He Made Holy," "Latter Rain" and "The Righteousness of Christ" deal with fundamental doctrinal themes.
"The Latter Rain," "God, Broken" and the old standard "The Holy City" by Frederick Weatherly, grab the honors in this album.
"God, Broken" is a classic. For it is because God Himself was broken, We can know His promises will never be (broken). This way to Jill's website.
